Guaranteed Handover On Time, Else We'll Pay You $5,000
Your handover date goes into your contract. If we miss it, we pay you $5,000. This page sets out how the date is fixed, what can move it, and how the $5,000 reaches you.
How the Handover Date Is Set
The date is written into your contract once your design is signed off and your site is measured, never at the first meeting. The clock starts once we have your keys and any HDB renovation permit or MCST approval your works need.
If We Miss It, You Get $5,000
The $5,000 is taken off what you still owe at handover, and any balance is paid to you by bank transfer within 7 days. One $5,000 payment applies per project.
What Can Move the Date
- Changes you ask for after confirmation, and decisions that arrive late. Each moves the date day for day, recorded in writing (WhatsApp counts) within 24 hours.
- Deliveries from your own suppliers, such as appliances you buy yourself.
- An HDB renovation permit or MCST approval that arrives late.
- Government stop-work orders and similar events outside anyone's control.
Handover and Snags
Handover is a joint walkthrough of the finished home. Small snags go on a list with a fix date and do not hold up handover.
